Urgent Practice Update |

Due to the closure of Lowell High School this week, below is the practice schedule for this week starting Tuesday June 30: Tuesday June 30: AG/Jr/SR: 6-8AM at UML Wednesday July 1: AG/Jr/Sr: 6-8AM at UML and 5:30-8PM at UML Pre-Comp: 6-7:30PM at UML Thursday July 2: AG/Jr/SR: 6-8AM at UML Friday July 3: Age Group: 8-11AM at UML Jr/SR: 7:30-11AM at UML Saturday July 4: AG/Jr/SR: 6:45-9AM at Haverhill High School Sunday July 5: AG/Jr/SR: 7:45-10AM at Hanscom (Get to Visitor's Center by 7:30AM) -------------------------------------------------- We will send an email and post on the website if we are able to get evening practice times on Tuesday June 30 or Thursday July 2. Currently, there will be no evening practices on those days. We will likely be back at Lowell High on Monday July 6. |

The following contains important information on changes in practice schedule and practice venues. Please note that effective Monday June 15, we will no longer be practicing at UMass-Lowell. All weekday practices (Monday through Friday) will be at Lowell High School. ----------------------------------------------- SUNDAY PRACTICE UPDATE Sunday June 21 at Hanscom: All Groups at Hanscom Air Force Base (long course): 7:50-10:00AM. Please get your passes at the Visitors Center by 7:25AM so that we may be on the deck by 7:40AM to get the lanelines in. Directions: Directions to the Visitor's Center (only entrance available): Take Exit 30B off I-95/Rte 128, Hanscom Field Exit, go 1.5 mi to the blinking light, take a right, go 1/4 mile straight, bear right to Hanscom AFB, Vandenberg Gate, and check in at the Visitor's Center. Directions to the Pool from the Visitor's Center: Exit right out of visitor center parking lot. Stop at gate for ID check. Once through gate go straight and go right at end of road onto Marrett St. Follow Marrett past 3 ball fields on your left. The Hanscom Pool is immediately following the ball fields on your left. Please READ ON for important weekday practice schedule changes. |

| From the Board of Directors: We would like to take a moment to thank Ken for his many years of service as President of New Wave Swim Club. At this time, Ken has decided to step down from the Presidency. He will continue to be an active part of NWSC, and a member of the Board of Directors. Carolyn Francisco has graciously accepted the position of President of the Board. Please join us in congratulating her and welcoming her in this new role. She brings much knowledge and enthusiasm to the task, and will ensure that NWSC continues to grow and develop along with its swimmers. Thank you. |
